- 1 cup (200g) black lentil/ kali urad sabut dal
- ¼ cup rajma/ red kidney beans
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups water
First Tadka
- 3 tablespoons ghee/clarified butter
- 2 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic
