- 1 cup maida/refined flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon butter
- ½ cup milk
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon corn flour

Steps In Making Dora Cake

- To prepare the batter in a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Now add little milk at a time and make a smooth batter.
- Lastly add vanilla extract. The dora cake batter is ready.
- To make the dora cakes heat a nonstick tawa and then add little oil. Now with a tissue paper wipe the excess oil. The tawa is ready to make the dora cakes.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter in the centre. Do not spread the batter, it will spread on its own.
- Now cover it with a lid and let cook for 2 minutes from each sides on low to medium heat. Similarly prepare all the dora cakes.
- To make the chocolate dora cake spread the chocolate sauce on one dora cake and cover it with the other one.
- Cut into desired shape and serve immediately.
Steps In Making Chocolate Sauce
- In a pan add butter, milk, sugar, cocoa powder and corn flour.
- With the help of a whisk break all the lumps and on low to medium heat cook for 3-4 minutes or till it becomes slightly thick.
- The chocolate sauce is ready.
Recipe Notes
- Do not cook on high heat, else they will get a dark colour remain uncooked from the inside.
- Do not over cook the chocolate sauce, as it will thicken once it cools down.
