Ingredients
- I litre (4 cups) water
- 2 teaspoons tea powder
- 2 mangoes sweet and ripened
- 500ml (2 cups) water
- 1 cup sugar
- few ice cubes
- 1 lemon thinly sliced
- few fresh mint leaves
- ¼ teaspoon black salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps In Making
- Add water in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil.
- Now add the tea powder and boil for 2-3 minutes. Once done strain the tea and let it cool down completely.
- Now roughly chop two mangoes.
- In a pan add the mangoes, water and sugar. Now cook for 12-15 minutes. The mangoes will turn soft and mushy. Once done let it cool down.
- Now transfer it into a mixer grinder and grind till it forms into a smooth puree.
- To assemble the mango iced tea in a glass add ice cubes, sliced lemon, fresh mint leaves, half cup of the mango syrup, chilled iced tea, black salt and lemon juice. Now stir and mix well.
- The mango ice tea is ready. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- Do not over boil the tea else it will become very strong and not taste good.
- If your mangoes have fiber then strain the mango syryp after grinding it.
- You can adjust the sugar depending on how sweet your mangoes are.
