Ingredients
For The Paneer Filling
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 onions medium finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes large finely chopped
- salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon amchoor powder
- 1 tablespoon shezwan sauce
- 2 water 2 tablespoons
- 2 tablespoons red bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons yellow bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons capsicum
- 200g paneer cubes
The Salad
- 1 cup cabbage thinly sliced
- ½ cup onions thinly sliced
- ½ cup capsicum thinly sliced
- ½ cup yellow bell peppers thinly sliced
- ½ cup red bell peppers thinly sliced
- salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon chaat masala
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
Assembling The Wrap
- 6 tortilla wraps
- 4 tablespoons green chutney

Steps In Making
- In a kadai heat oil and then add cumin seeds and saute them for few seconds.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add finely chopped onions and cook for 3-4 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Now add tomatoes, salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the tomatoes turn soft.
- Further add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, amchoor powder, shewzan sauce and mix well. Add some water if needed. Cook the masala for couple of minutes.
- Now add green capsicum along with red and yellow bell peppers. Cook for 2 minutes, Do not over cook them.
- Finally add the paneer cubes and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Do not over cook else the paneer might turn hard. The paneer filling is ready. Now keep it aside.
The Salad
- To prepare the salad in a large bowl add thinly sliced cabbage, onions, capsicum, red and yellow bell peppers.
- For seasoning add salt, black pepper powder and chaat masala.
- Mix till everything is well combined. The salad for the paneer wrap is ready.
Assembling The Wrap
- Heat the tortilla wraps on a tawa for around 30 seconds from each side or until done.
- Now evenly spread green chutney on it.
- In the center add the salad. Top it with a generous amount of paneer filling.
- Squeeze some lemon juice on the top.
- Now gently roll the wrap as shown in the video.
- Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- Use can use tortilla wraps or a chapati.
- You can add mayonnaise or ketchup instead of green chutney.
