Main Equipment Used

Steps In Making

Green Sandwich Chutney
  1. In a mixer grinder add all the ingredients and grind until smooth. Do not add excess water else the sandwich will become soggy.
  2. Adding ice cubes will help the chutney maintain it’s green colour.
Vegetable Masala
  1. Finely chop all the vegetables and then add them in a bowl along with all the spices mentioned in the ingredients. The vegetable masala is ready.
Aloo Masala
  1. In a large bowl add the boiled potatoes and mash them with the help of a masher or hands. Make sure no lumps are there.
  2. Now add finely chopped capsicum, onions, green chillies along with red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, sandwich masala and salt. Mix till everything is well combined. The aloo masala is ready.
Assembling The Sandwich
  1. To assemble the triple decker sandwich, take 3 slices of bread and evenly spread butter on top of it.
  2. Similarly take sandwich chutney and spread it on the same slices.
  3. On one of the bread slice add 2 tablespoons of the aloo masala and spread it evenly.
  4. Add the vegetable masala on the other slice and spread it evenly.
  5. Now grate cheese on both the bread slices.
  6. Gently lift the vegetable bread slice and place it on the aloo masala bread. Now cover it with the third bread slice. Gently press it with your palm.
  7. To toast the sandwich take a tawa or a grill pan and add some butter on it. Gently place the sandwich on it and cook for 3 minutes from each sides or until it gets a golden brown colour and crispy texture.
  8. The triple decker sandwich is ready. Serve immediately.
