Red and green chutney can be commonly found in the Indian street food. Its used in all the chats, sev puri, pani puri, dahi bhala, samosa’s to name few. Its simple, quick and very easy to make and tastes so delicious.
Ingredients
Red Chutney
- 10-12 dried red chillies
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds/jeera
- ½ teaspoon dry mango powder/amchoor
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt to taste

Steps In Making
- In a mixer grinder add all the ingredients and grind for 30-40 seconds.
- Now add some water, depending on the consistency you want and grind till it forms into a smooth paste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for upto 1 week.

- ½ cup fresh mint/pudina
- 1 inch ginger
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2-3 green chillies
- 2 tablespoons roasted chana dal
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds/jeera
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon dry mango powder/amchoor
- a pinch hing/asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt to taste
Steps In Making
- In a mixer grinder add all the ingredients and grind for 30-40 seconds.
- Now add some water, depending on the consistency you want and grind till it forms into a smooth paste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for upto 1 week.
