Paneer Bread Pizza on Tawa

Ingredients

Paneer Pizza Topping
  • 1 cup onions finely chopped
  • ¼ cup capsicum
  • ¼ cup red bell peppers
  • ¼ cup yellow bell peppers
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 200g paneer/ cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon oregano or pizza seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
Pizza Assembling
  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 tablespoons mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • butter for cooking

Steps In Making

Paneer Pizza Topping
  1. To prepare the paneer pizza toppings, in a large bowl add chopped onions, capsicum, red and yellow bell peppers along with pizza sauce, mayonnaise, paneer, onion powder, garlic powder, red chilli flakes, oregano, black pepper powder and salt. Now add till everything is well combined. The paneer pizza topping is ready.
  2. To assemble the pizza, take 4 bread slices and evenly spread butter on one side of each slice.
  3. Similarly spread the pizza sauce.
  4. Add a cheese slice to each one of them.
  5. Now generously add the paneer pizza topping.
  6. Add some mozzarella cheese on the top and lastly sprinkle some red chilli flakes and oregano.
  7. Now on a tawa add some butter and put the bread pizza on it and cover it with a lid.
  8. Let it cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes or till the cheese melts completely.
  9. You can also bake it for 5 minutes at 180C

Recipe Notes

  • You can add sweet corn or any vegetable of your choice.
  • If you don’t have pizza sauce then you can replace it with tomato ketchup.
