Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon ghee/clarified butter
- ½ cup almonds, roughly chopped
- ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 4 tablespoons pistachios, roughly chopped
- ½ cup cashews, roughly chopped
- ½ teaspoon ghee/clarified butter
- 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, khus-khus
- ½ teaspoon ghee/clarified butter
- ¼ cup melon seeds
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ teaspoon ghee/clarified butter
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 350g fresh dates
- ½ teaspoon cardamom power

Steps In Making
- In a pan heat ghee and then add roughly chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts. Roast them on medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until they get a light golden brown colour. Once done transfer them in a plate.
- In the same pan heat ½ teaspoon ghee and then add flax seeds, sesame seeds and poppy seeds. Roast them on medium to low heat for 2 minutes. Once done transfer them in a plate.
- Now heat ½ teaspoon ghee and then add melon seeds and pumpkin seeds. Roast them for 3-4 minutes or until they get light golden colour and swell up a little. Once done transfer them in a plate.
- Add ½ teaspoon ghee in the same pan and then add raisins and dried cranberries. Roast them for 2-3 minutes. Once done transfer them in a plate.
- Now add desiccated coconut and roast for 2-3 minutes on medium low flame. Once done transfer it in a plate.
- All the nuts and seeds have been roasted.
- In the same pan add 1 tablespoon ghee and then add chopped and deseeded dates. Cook them for 7-8 minutes or until they turn soft and mushy.
- Now add all the roasted nuts in it, along with cardamom powder. Mix till everything is well combined.
- Let the dry fruit mixture cool down for 10 minutes.
- To make the ladoos take two tablespoons of the dry fruit mixture in between your palm and roll the ladoos in a round shape. You can change the size of the ladoos depending on your choice.
- The dry fruit ladoos are ready.
- Now let them cool down completely and then store them in an airtight container for upto a month.
Recipe Notes
- You can add any nuts and seeds of your choice.
- Make sure the dates are chopped before cooking them. Else they will take a longer time to cook.
